I discovered recently that I could create a new “Activity Stream” in addition to the default stream I have for all of my Topliners connections. The new Stream I created included only my immediate teammates which now allows me to quickly see what what content they’re creating. For example, my colleague Nora O'Leary-Roseberry created a poll recently about tracking lead source. I follow her in my main Activity Stream, but that poll had gotten buried. In my new “Teammate Activity Stream” her poll was right at the top.
Creating a New Activity Stream is easy. On the home screen of Topliners, click +New Stream in the left sidebar and give it a name. Search and add names or places (places are helpful, especially if you have a private Space for your organization). Decide if you want email updates for this list to be On or Off. Click “Done” in the left sidebar.
Is anyone else doing this or anything similar? Any other thoughts for custom Activity Feeds?
